Feedback that lands

Useful feedback describes a specific behaviour, its impact, and what you would like to see next. "You're careless" gives the person nothing to work with. "The last two reports went out without the site photos, and the client asked for them twice" does.

Give positive feedback the same way. Specific praise tells people exactly what to keep doing.
