- Build a guaranteed maximum price, distinguish construction manager and owner contingencies, calculate shared savings and overruns, and model schedule overlap under CM at risk
- Explain design-build, bridging and progressive design-build, write performance-based owner requirements, apply best-value award rules and calculate a phase 2 price

- Match standard contract families to delivery methods, including CCDC 2, 5A, 5B, 14, 15, 17 and 30, check editions and alignment down the contract chain, and recognize risk-shifting amendments
- Apply public sector constraints to delivery choice, including policy authority, designer selection, business cases, fairness safeguards, funding conditions and labour and community requirements
- Select a delivery method using ranked goals, pass/fail screens, market sounding, risk allocation analysis and weighted scoring with sensitivity tests
